dash-b · About
One of several.
dash-b is a dashboard designer, and it is also the place the rest of castomo is operated from. This page is the second half of that sentence.
The short version
A designer that runs in your browser, and nothing else
Open dash-b and you are designing. There is no account to make, nothing to install, and no server of ours between you and the work — the whole designer runs on your machine, in the tab you already had open.
That is a deliberate constraint rather than a missing feature. A design is a file: it stays in your browser until you decide to publish it, hand it to somebody, or export the whole designer and run it on a server of your own. What you pay for is keeping and sharing the work, never the ability to do it.
175 widgets, 14 families
Four ways to arrange a page, and the chrome — the dialogs, the sign-in screen, the menus — is yours to design too.
See what it can draw → YoursExport the whole thing
Not a data dump. The designer itself, running on your server, with your designs already in it.
How self-hosting works → SharingA link that opens with no account
Publish a board and send it. Whoever opens it needs nothing — no sign-up, no install, no app.
See how publishing works →The ecosystem
castomo is the group dash-b belongs to
Several products, built to be used together rather than sold as a suite. Each one does its own job on its own domain, and dash-b is where you drive them.
The platform underneath
Accounts, data, payments and the services the other products call. If something in castomo needs a backend, this is the backend.
castomapi.com → castomFlowAny workflow you can imagine
Triggers, steps, branches and schedules, in the spirit of Zapier, Make and n8n — with or without AI inside them. Describe what should happen in a few words and the flow builds itself, and every castomo service is a step it can use.
castomflow.com → castomUIWebsites and landing pages
The site editor. It builds the pages the rest of the ecosystem needs — including the ones ClickSomo sends people to.
castomui.com → ClickSomoMessaging that reacts
Email and SMS at scale, with funnels, scheduling, and triggers that fire on what people actually do — a link clicked, a page scrolled.
clicksomo.com → FABLSBlogging and social, run for you
Fully Automated BLogging & Social media. It writes and publishes the blog and the social accounts on a schedule, so the reach is worked at continuously rather than whenever somebody remembers — and the whole conversation is answered from one place instead of six tabs.
fabls.io → iKonektEvery conversation, one place
The CRM and communication hub. Every way someone reaches castomo — chat, a form, a call — lands here, gets a seller, and is worked through to invoices, connected both ways to ClickSomo and FABLS.
ikonekt.com → 3DbuilderA home, designed in 3D
A 3D home builder with a shared workspace, so everyone planning the house works on the same model at the same time.
builder.castomo.com → ApertureVideo editing in the browser
A video editor that runs in the browser, made for editing together rather than passing files back and forth.
aperture.castomo.com → ObserverKnow your visitors, track nobody
Website analytics and visitor understanding — cookie-less and privacy-first, the same analytics the castomo websites count their own visits with.
observer.castomo.com → castomo VPNA private network for a team
Self-hosted WireGuard, running on our own nodes, and the reason a Team seat here includes one.
vpn.castomo.com →Each of these is its own product with its own terms. Naming them here is not a claim that you need any of them to use dash-b — you do not, and the free tier never asks.
Why it matters here
Every one of them is manageable from a dash-b board
That is the reason dash-b looks like a dashboard designer and behaves like a control surface. A board can hold a chart of your own numbers next to something that reaches into the rest of the ecosystem, because the widgets that read data and the widgets that act on it are the same kind of object.
It is also why the object model is worth the discipline: everything in dash-b is a setup, setups nest and merge, and a widget that can be configured can be configured by something else.
How it is built
No dependencies, no build step, no framework
The designer is vanilla ES modules. This site is static — every page of it, in eighty-eight languages, generated by a Python script with nothing but the standard library. Both are that way on purpose: a tool that runs in your browser forever should not depend on a supply chain that might not be there next year.
You can read all of it. View source on this page and there is nothing hidden in a bundle.
